Adam Dohrman

Outstanding Contributor/Athlete

Dedicated service to athletic programs is one of the induction requirements for SSHS Athletic Hall of Fame Outstanding Contributors.  Adam Dohrman easily fits into this description as President of the SSHS Athletic Hall of Fame Committee and as a devoted volunteer for any and all Hounds athletic programs.  Coaching the junior high boys’ basketball team has also been a long-time commitment for Adam.  As President of the SSHS Alumni Association, he is responsible for the alumni basketball games and many Homecoming activities including the popular Alumni Dinner and Auction which raises scholarship funds for graduating seniors.  Adam was an SSHS letterman in baseball (2 years), basketball (3 years) and football (4 years) where he started on the offensive and defensive lines every game in his high school career and earned I-70 All-Conference honors twice.  The Hounds were state football quarter-finalists in 1990.  Adam played one year of football at the University of Missouri – Rolla before transferring to MU to complete his Bachelor of Science degree in 1997 with a major in Agricultural Economics.
